I just stripped my Super C of it's two point hitch and now have no need for it.I am going to post it on the classified.Would like to know what would it be worth? I also have a front bucket frame work that I took off.It looks to be factory made and looks to fit either the C series or maybe the H series. The cylinders, buckets and the arms to the bucket are missing but some one good with metal work could come up with these. What would something like this be worth ???

Dale, I have a Super C and am looking for a two-point hitch as mine didn"t have one when I purchased it at an auction. If you are still interested in selling it let me know.

Thanks, Michael

Well,to explain why I'm taking the two point hitch off.I all ready have one Super c with a fast hitch that I use and show. The other reason,I am making this Super c into a pulling tractor and want to get rid of all the weight I don't need.So i am selling the hitch instead of watching it lay around and rust.

I agree with Wardner, The utility of the hitch, and originality are superior to almost anything else on the tractor. I can't second guess your reasons, but the regular hitch on a older SC is not much to write about. JimN

Perhaps I shouldn't even comment, but I can't imagine stripping the fast hitch from a tractor. It is the primary attraction of the Farmall to me. I like them so much I have installed them on a 650 and a 660, tractors that were not shipped with the hitch.

I am guessing that you could probably get $400-500 for your hitch. Perhaps that is motivation enough for you but I would pass your stripped tractor by if it ever came up for sale.
