Today I was cleaning my H getting ready for some paint. I took the carb. and manifold off and while cleaning the plate that is located behind carb. I notice a little drop of water coming from this plate. The plate has the word top embossed on it an this small hole located inside the letter o was dripping water. Is this hole supose to be there for condensation or do I have problems?

Probably the anti-freeze was changed too often.

I had the same experience with my H. Even though that sheet metal plate looks simple from the outside, the inside had baffles that direct the coolant towards the cylinders...they may have rusted off on yours. Do get the correct replacement part, and don"t "make do" with a piece of flat plate. After removing the baffle plate, I stuck the wand from the pressure washer in the block and really cleaned out 60 years of accumulated crud. It makes a difference! The baffle plate was available from FNH and aftermarket "OEM" type suppliers. Hint: guess which was cheaper...by a lot!

That's about the easiest part on the tractor to replace. But, you won't like what you see when you remove it -- outside of cylinders will be full of crud.

So I guess it should not have small hole in it.

That is the water block-off plate for the engine. You need to remove the plate and see how badly it is rusted -- probably need a new one.
