I have an opportunity to buy two nice 12.4 x 36 tires on some sort of Farmall rim at in very good condition for $100.00 each. What I have on my M now is some very weathered 12.4 x 38 tires. Can I switch them out and will the 36s fit on the cast stock hubs of a stock 41 M?

Thanks,

Bill

Gosh, I think they will actually fit. I have an H and a Super C and looking at the pictures of each, it sure looks like the 36" C wheels will fit an H which should be virtually the same as an M. I could measure accurately if you need a hard & fast answer. You only downfall will be you'll most likely go about 10% slower or about 2 mph less, which is not a big amount.

A hard and fast answer would save money and time, and peace of mind on my end if it is not too much trouble. I don't care if I go 2% slower, I just play with it anyway.

Well from what I can tell by looking at the 340 we have that has 36 inch rears and an M we have the rims will not bolt on to the centers since the 36 inch centers are smaller then the 38inch centers. Now I'm just going by looks and I haven't measures to be sure

Bill, I would suspect that they would fit at least mine do on my 52MD. Mine are the 36" split ring rims. It's what was on the tractor when I bought it. Sorta looks odd, but it was a valid option and makes for good farmall conversation.

They are probably off of a Super C or a C, they both used 12.4 X 36 tires. Wish I had them for my Super C, I can only find 11.2's in our part of the world. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

I guess you would have to take measurements. The parts book does list 36" rims for the M. It also has a wheel (6325 DE) and says it can be used with all rims. Look for a part number on your wheels and get back to us.
