Hello,

Can anyone tell me if the the water pump on an farmall H has Bearing or bushing in it. The reason I ask Is because it has some side to side movement in it And occasionaly hits the fan shroud. I AM PLANNING ON GETTIN A NEW WATER PUMP FOR IT BUT AM WONDERING IF A BUSHING IS WEARING OUT OR IF A BEARING IS GETTING READY TO EAT IT'S LUNCH, AS I NEED TO RUN IT TOMORROW.

Thanks

Do something before the fan goes through the radiator.

There are 2 bearings inside the fan/generator pully setup on an H waterpump. I would guess these are shot unless the shaft they run on is terribly wore for some reason.
