Farmall rear wheel weights, double up?

I notice that the farmall letter series rear wheel weights have 2 holes available after they are bolted up.

Is this the manner in which a fella adds another set to the same wheel? So he can have 2 on each wheel?

Who has done this, is the second set mated to the existing one, flat face to flat face?

thanks

Each weight is rotated 90 degrees. The first one is installed with four square head bolts in the recessed pockets in the weight and through the holes in the wheel (nuts and lock washers on the inside of the wheel. Subsequent weights are installed by placing the heads of the bolts (2) In the slots on the previous weight and through the holes in the weight you are installing(nuts and lock washers on the outside). This way you can install weights one at a time. I have 2 on each side of my C. Dave.

When I added weights to my H they were several 'vintages'. I had to take a grinder to the slots and bolt holes, and clean up the casting flash, to get the last set to line up accurately.

i have 3 weights stacked on each axle of my m that has the loader. stack them all the same way. the extra holes line up the weights and the i use bolts and washers where the notches are cut out.

I got 4 on each side of my loader tractor. You can conceivably just keep adding weights if you were so inclined.
