cant find any info on australian made farmalls on internet so may be someone here might be able to help, im after info on an farmall a514 i think its an m deisel.
it has the later square bonnet but still has the steering go over the top and the gauges in the same place as an m,the front grill is similar to a 240 -460. underneath it looks identical

514 was the Row Crop version of the A554 broadacre tractor. 264 glow plug start Diesel and 5sp box. Like most Row Crop tractors they weren't big sellers in Australia.

Its the first one in the row.

Its not a very good picture of the Austraian tractor but I believe this is what tractor you mean.

Note the steering and the seat.

Thanks laGary thats the tractor, where was this taken!
The reason im asking is im currantly restoring an M and need a radiator ive priced a re-build and it would be cheaper to buy this whole tractor the radiator has been re-built recently and looks the same.
My thoughts are to buy this one and use the radiator in the M and make this my next project giving me more time to look around and maybe some luck finding a radiator.

This collection belongs to a guy by Williamsburg Ia.

If you have the Australian tractor I would not take the radiator out of it for the M.

You should be able to get a M radiator.

Leave the Australian M together if you can.

my radiator needs re-core so i went to local caseih dealer to get a price and he had nothing come up on computer i gave him part no-351798r92,also got two prices on re-builds and both were minimum of $1000au,the tractor is $900au running. It has an hour metre on the timing case cover showing 9213 hours

ive spent hours trying to find websites and information about australian made ih and come up with nothing all i know is the factory was in Geelong,Melbourne,Victoria as for what tractors & machinary came out of the factory as Australian made ive no idea. i do know there is an ih collectors club in Australia but still no luck finding anything on internet it would be interesting to know.
