which hydraulic oils are are safe to use on 1952 farmall cub-detergent vs. non detergent etc? as always many thanks Rp ps. this is my first international and after useing my old 9n i really can get into this touch control system its great.

You could try this as well. It's a good replacement, and cheaper too.

Like the other posters, I reccomend Hytran, which is now Ultra Hytran, but if you cannot get it locally, the manual says any fluid marked MS1209 compliant is acceptable.

As Hugh has suggested, call your local Case IH dealer and get yourself a 2 1/2 gal container of Hytran, thats your best bet ! Not cheap but its the right stuff!

Do not use motor oil in an IH touch control hydraulic system. Use only CaseIH Hytran or the equivilant.
