Hugh, I seem to recall a statement you said about having looked a long time for a single point fast hitch rocker arm assembly. There's a guy on ebay who is parting out (piece by piece) a 140 fast hitch.

Thought you'd like to know.

Bill: Thanks for the heads up. I've already found one, but another can't hurt if the price is right. Hard to say what will happen with that, I can see folks looking for a complete hitch, backing right off on that one. How does one make sure he can enter enough bids in the dying moments to have all.

I think our friend in KY may just have shot himself in the foot. He'll get good prices for about 4 of those items and get very little or nothing for the rest.

Selling the individual components will probably get him more, but you never know. You'd probably bid almost as much for just the part you need as you would for the whole unit if you didn't want the rest, wouldn't you? Part of the fun of auctions I guess.

Tom: I stand by what I said. I can sell a complete 140 fast hitch for $600. any day. I'll bet if I had a dozen complete hitches tomorrow morning I could have them all sold by night fall. I can also buy any number of hitches less the rear rockshaft assembly for $25. Do you think the rockshaft will go for $575?
