I have found a new chokerod for sale on YT parts pages. I can't figure out what else is needed to connect the straight choke rod listed on parts pages with the choke crank on the side of the carb. I have the full parts catalog but do not see anything other than the mention of a choke rod. My tractor is a 1940 Farmall H - SN# FBH-42485.
All help is appreciated.

I used a piece of mild steel rod, it bends easily and hooked up the choke on my m, it works good and alot cheaper. i dont have a spring just push it back in after starting.

If you are asking what I am thinking you are.
The rod has a bend at the end that connects directly to the carb and is held in place with a cotter pin. I am not sure if a flat washer is added also.
