I have two Cub Engine blocks one has the letter "R" the other has the letter "J". Where can I find the dates for these? I am sure one of you knows this by heart. Thanks in advance.
Don.

From Guy Fays book, J = 1940 R = 1948

J would have to be '63 (some say '64) but not '40, since the Cub did not come out until '47.

My heart doesn't remember the alphabet, my brain barely does, but R is 1948 for sure, J is 1964, maybe. My list only goes to 1958, and I think the letters were not necessarily consecutive after that time.
