I know....I'm cheap, I can get new ones, but 10 years ago when we started restoring tractors, we used to trip over good used 38" rims, luckily none of our recent resto's have needed rims, now we are doing a Super M and need a good used set of 38" x 13" or 14" double bevels, and can't find a single one anywhere near me in Upstate, NY...any ideas? Thanks, Pete

Here's a web site for tractor salvage yards. Hoober has 4 dealerships in this area. They have 2 in PA and 2 in Delaware. You can call them at 1-800-732-0017. They have some used parts or can probably get them. Hal

I found a rim for my Model 784 (NO aftermarket's or OEM parts available) by working with Hoober's in Pennsylvania; they were very helpful.

I'm in NY too in reply to Pete76NY, 10-14-2006 15:53:17
Have you tried McFaddens in Sharron Springs? He has at least 10 acres of parts tractors. I've been told the largest in the northeast. Real good guy, and knows just about every nut and bolt he has. Prices are fair, but you can find almost anything. I know he has racks of rims ready to go. Good Luck, Mike

Weren't you looking at a W-30 a while a go or selling one? I left a reply about it, but didn't receive a response. I don't remember who it was.

Sorry, I musta missed your reply...I was inquiring about one, haven't looked yet (time is hard to come by) but it's safe and it'll be there when I get to it. Pete

Well, the only reason I asked was I am looking for one, and if you weren't interested I would be. Or if you knew where I can find parts for one. I would like to fix up my W-30.

We used to do a lot of things 10 years ago. In the good ole days when we "weren't so good and we weren't so old".

Hey, "Cowman". Are you hispanic with the "ole'" days? This ain't no bullfight.
I think it might be "ol' days" or perhaps, "Olde Days" (old english).
Mike (they call me Super M) Durhan
