guys- i took your advice and flushed cooling system and it helped alot. now my next question is on my water temp gauge it says cold run hot.there is a white arrow right above the n on run. is that were it should be.that is were it runs now. thank-you. the dumby from wisc. dennis

What model are you running? Are you using a thermostat? If you are not using a thermostat on a F-30 or W-30, you need to block off one of the hoses to the thermostat.

dean-i have a C and i have not got that far.i flushed the system and it helped i think some.took it for long ride on sat. the temp gauge run on the arrow on temp gauge .the arrow is above the n on run my gauge reads cold run hot. thank-you for your help. dennis

It is Ideal. Do not worry too much until it gets to the very top of the run range. The thermo-siphon systems have a range of temp based on hotter = more convection. Keep in touch, JimN

What model tractor you runing? Dad had a C and it never came up much off the cold area. The guage sender was in the return from radiator to engine, the coldest part of the system.

Yep flushing a cooling system can make a world of differance on how hot or cold they run. Sorry can't say for sure on the N your talking about since I don't have a gauge for one any more so I can't look to find out
