My neighbor called me and said he found a 10-20 that used to be in his family. I know of the tractor and it has sat outside for at least 30 years. He was wondering what it might be worth and what to offer on it. I do not know of the specific condition but it you know what a tractor is like if it has been in the weeds for that long. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I would be more concerned about the clutch,as it has a multiple disc clutch, than the engine. Several years ago I purchased one, very complete but stuck, I had more hours by far in the clutch than in the engine

cal, as with anything, like you said it depends on condition. steel wheels, good or bad tires, side curtains, engine stuck or loose, fender condition, etc. since it is a family tractor the value can be higher to the buyer. 10-20 parts are not hard to get. if he can get it for scrap price that's great. if not, they sell all over the board for 150.00- 2,300.00. we actually had a pretty nice un restored tractor sell for 2,300.00 close to here because like some times at an auction 2 guys with money wanted it! it was not running but on steel and very good complete condition. russ

I agree, at least scrap price is fair for the seller, And for the buyer, he can possibly break even if it"s not repairable.
