My tractor has not run in about six or seven years, I ck. compression today and it ran 65 to 70 on all four. If I get the tractor running and let it run long enough to get the engine warmed up will my compression go up. I am just using this tractor for show and pull a wagon but do not want it to smoke.

My F12 sat for over 30 years, the compression was zip.0. I poured about a half cup of marvel mystery oil down each cylinder, cranked it about 5 revolutions then added another half cup in each with the crank 45 degrees off TDC and let it sit overnight. I did not put a compression guage on it but it started and ran great the next morning.

Rings and probably sticking on the pistons. I'd take and pour about 1/2 cup of tranny fluid in each cylinder and let it sit a few days. Then spin the engine over to clear the cylinders. I'll bet after you do that your compression will come up a good bit

Not sure what model tractor you have but I'd check and make sure that the valve adjustment is correct and that no valves are sticking. If all is well there, pour some trany fluid in each cylinder and let it sit for a few days, rings may be stuck.
