Hi i have a Wd-6 tractor and need to know where I can find a Carb Kit for it because it leaks gas through. Also what could be causing me to always have full choke for it to run. I have had the carb cleaned in acid to.

The reason for needing a lot of choke most often is an air leak. Check the manifold gaskets. When you have it running spray a little WD or similar product around where the gaskets are. You"ll know if they"re leaking the engine will pick up.

The Farmall MD and the McCormick WD-6 carburetors have fuel bowls made of aluminum, which will not stand up to acid unless it is a very mild acid. I do not know where you might find a rebuild kit unless a Case-IH dealer might be able to get one. I have an MD parts carb that I think could be made to work again but it needs some serious work.
