Big thing is if you have rails on the trailor or not, I know the trailor I use has rails and some tractors are to wide to fit between the rail. I have this trailor set up so I can have the tractor on the rails but its no fun loading or unlaoding it when I have to do that

I'm assuming that everything is rated equal or better than your axles putting your trailer at 7.000 W's. Take off 1500 to 2000 for the weight of the trailer giving you a usable load of 5,000 - 5,500 #'s. Add in 10% of the weight that should be resting on the hitch and your about at yout limit.

a 3/4 ton pickup should be fine just check the trucks load capacities - most important you want e;ectronic brakes on all 4 wheels that are properly working.

With most row crop tractors have 34" row spacing - some smaller and some wider. Normal trailers with side walls can carry a load up to 78" wide. This translated into 30' row spacing - 60" on center tire to tire for a total with of 72" assuming 12" tires and 3" on each side. Can you say tight but it will work.

I'd ask the guy your picking up the tractor from to measure the with and possibly ask him to move in the rear tires. This is probably not an easy task as the bolts have long ago rusted in place.

My M has, I think !4.9"x38" tires.....with the wheels all the way in it is 88" wide....

If by chance the wheels have been "dish" out it should fit.....you will be at max load, so make sure tires and breaks are in good shape....start out with rear tractor tires centered over the trailor axles.....

I mean 3" of clearance from the side wall of the tire to the trailer rail on each side.

My Super M scales 5,550# with one set of wheel weights, unloaded tires and a full tank of gas.

Presuming your trailer's tires are load rated equal or greater than the axles, and you position the tractor so 10% - 15% of trailer weight is on the tongue you should be fine.

For safety you should also have first class trailer brakes (and brake controller), all properly adjusted!

If the tires aren't loaded and there's no more than 2 sets of weights on the tractor it shouldn't be more than about 5700 lbs which oughta be okay if the trailer is in decent shape and has good load rated tires. You will be right at capacity though so don't get in a hurry.
