Do you live near a boat store? I have found them to be a good sourse of lots of stuff including a temporary belt you can use to replace broken one at sea. They are reasonable and can be used for long periods of time. Try Westmarine.com they have everything .

My dad is head electrician at a large quarry here in ohio. He told me they habve spliceable belts for some of their crushers, but they are REALLY big belts. I wonder if they make something in a smaller version...

Well I got an optima yellow top in her now, 6v, so I'm just gonna run her without the belt til next spring, just charge her back up after I'm done. No long runs with it anyways for what I'm using it for. Next spring I'll have more time to do it and do it right, and will be painting the tin anyways and will be halfway there =)

Sorry, forgot to tell ya =)
300u
I need to remove the fan/pulley from the waterpump, as the tnesion adjustment setscrew is broken off and I need to get it out and the best way is at the bench =), besides the loader really makes it a pain to get in there as it is.

You will need to remove the waterpump to get the pully hub off. On the H, you can get the waterpump off without removing the radiator, if your careful. After you remove the hoses you can tilt the radiator forward enough to give you room to work. The 300 might be different. Don't know.....ken

not 100% sure but If I remember correctly the pulley will thread off the water pump, only thing is you will have to remove the radiator to do it, but hey no gaskets to buy, just alittle time and effort
