Well I got the 340 and the M both to run well. Now for the question. The book says you have to remove the radiator to remove the water pump, but do you really have to remove the radaitor or can the water pump be pulled off with out doing so??
Thanks. If it wheren't for the water pump being locked up I would have taken it for a test drive

It can be done, but I found it takes less time to pull the radaitor off than to fight with it, plus theres less chance of skinning knuckles on the radiator.

You can remove the water pump without removing the radiator. I know, I did it. You do have to remove the fan from the pump to be able to get the pump out. It also helps to remove, or at least loosen, the support rod at the top of the radiator, this will allow you to push the top of the radiator forward and give you a little more room. After that you can bring the pump right out the left side.
