Well, after much deliberation we decided to get a new combine to replace the ol" MF 510 and 550. So we got this- 1990 Case IH 1680 Axial Flow, the biggest combine made in "90 the equivent of a JD 9500. We got it yesterday(Friday) and started having trouble with it, auger started unloading beans when going down the field, the hydralic tank had a hole in it that had to be JB welded, AND the throttle ball and socket came apart. ANYway, started at 10a.m. and by 4:30 we were done with all 35 acres. Found out- you run outta guts before it runs outta balls. Very nice combine. Thought I"d get my 2 cents in.;>

Yes, they are nice combines. Try going from a IH 715 into a 2388! talk about a monster. Never thought you could shell corn that fast!
