What is the correct way to adjust the float on a f-14? What height should it be adjusted to? Thank-you, Phil

It is adjusted by bending the tab that contacts the inlet needle valve. Bending the tab up shuts the needle valve sooner, resulting in a lower fuel level in the bowl. Bending it down (obviously) shuts it off later, raising the fuel level in the bowl.

My book says to adjust it so the fuel level in the float bowl is 22/32nds to 25/32nds below the bottom of the upper body.

If you buy a good quality carb kit, it will come with a guage to set the float height by that will result in the proper fuel level, or close enough.
