Any one know of a way to pull piston sleeves on the 404 C135 engine, if i can keep from it i dont want to buy a puller for what is most likely a one time use.
Also i split the tractor and removed the clutch several months ago and when getting ready to send clutch parts out for recondition i found a cylinder about the size of the release bearing and i dont remember where it came from. Is it possible it rides on the clutch sleeve between the release bearing and the pressure plate?
Thanks for any help.

You may be able to rent a sleeve puller. You could take the block to your local auto machine shop and have them press the old sleeves out, cook the block of any dirt or sludge and reinstall the new sleeves. Hal
PS: If that block has cam bearings they should be
removed and new bearings installed.
