Ok, the thoughts about getting rid of a 826 for a 684 was not good. So I may have a line in a IH loader(2450??). So I want to put a 3pt hitch on. All I have on the back is a drawbar. Can't find one at any wreckers. Can I get a jobber deal for the back? Any good? Price? Then I will move my Cockshutt and Massey down the road...

Yes, there are aftermarket 3-point hitches avalible that would fit on an 826, but the quality isn't as good as the factory style. Like Nat said, there should be about a million factory 3-point hitches that would fit in salvage yards. 706, 806, 756, and 856 should be exactly the same. I could suggest a couple good salvage yards if you're located in the Midwest or willing to have it shipped. The factory hitch is not somthing that can be installed by the novice mechanic. There's a few internal parts that need to be added. As for the loader, IH 2250's and 2350's fit pretty good, I think the only difference between the 2350 and the 2450 is that the 2450 lifts a couple feet higher. Keep in mind that each loader required different mounts for just about every model of tractor, so either be sure you're getting 826 mounts or be prepaired to make some modifications.

By "jobber deal" do you mean an aftermarket hitch like Saginaw makes for the H's and M's? No such thing for an 826 because of the availability of a factory 3pt hitch. If you can't find one at "any" wreckers, you're either asking the wrong questions or doing business with the wrong wreckers. There are literally at least a dozen tractor models with the exact same 3pt hitch system that will bolt right on your 826.

A 2350 loader would be more appropriate for your tractor, but a 2450 will work. You will probably need to drill four holes in each frame rail for the rear loader bracket mounts.
