You'er all going about it wrong.
The first thing you need to do, is to fire up the old tractor, back up to the door and pulled the door off using the tractor. You can also use the tractor to clean up any debris. He uses chainsaw to square up the opening. Then go get your window, moving the window into place with the your tractor. Nail it up on the outside of the building, and just fill in underneath. Generally, five mil. plastic works good for a while. This should only take a couple hours. Then you have a few beers and think about the siding that yor will put on, after the plastic wears out.
Good luck TV, I know what kind of a job you're in for, I did that kind work for 25 years. But they never let me use the tractor.

Boy, I was gonna make the chainsaw comment first...but Rusty beat me to it. I guess it just goes to show that sick minds think alike.

Remember this though. You don't want to jump right into a job without a plan of attack...that's how people get hurt. I like to get together about 3 or 4 buddies and have a couple of beers and come up with a good plan first and then tackle the job. That always seems to help. Be safe!

Good luck Vet!

Billy

You're goin about it all wrong. First you go and buy the winder, second, you fire up the chainsaw. NOW it's time for the thinkin' and head scratchin'.

Hang in there TV, and remember, the termites need to winter over too. :-) Best of luck on your not playing with tractors today, as you do your re-model.
