Well, we peeled out some bucks recently and got a new new table computer controlled lazer cutter to cut out cad designed 2 dimension parts. Sent the youngest and brightest off to school to learn to operate it. I have already cut out a sprocket (after hours) ( and not available anywhere.) This machine is a wonderment. Do cad design, send it to the computer on the machine, load the table and hit go. It will cut through up to 1 inch steel. Will cut 3/8 steel sheet like it is butter...and will just sit there and cut out part after part exactly the same everytime as long as the table is loaded...just fantastic...
