Its about time CNH caught up with the greeies. Click on the link below then click on launch Case IH Parts Catalogs. It has most of the IH tractors covered and all parts that are NLA are in red. At least its a start!

MN Scott- You're a steely-eyed missile man in my book for finding this link and posting it! Thank you! I not only bookmarked the site, I printed out catalogs for both my tractors! This was a very useful bit of info to me. I agree that the site is clunky, but the parts guys whine about that too at the dealerships. I am also on a Mac but had no serious trouble navigating the site (using Safari). Anyway, thank you Scott!

I use a Mac computer and tried all the browsers and none of them really work well on the main search page.
I found if you do your search and find the model you are looking for on the left pane, then under the sub-catorgories click on engine for example, nothing shows up. But if you click on the little printer icon you will then see the list.

Randy

Not all parts printed in red are NLA--have already tried several.

Thanks for the link. I found the site somewhat confusing, not very user friendly.

I spent $130 about 3 months ago for a parts CD, now I don't need it. The site is much faster. In the provided link on the home page, click on "launch Case-IH parts books", and you are there. The link does not look clickable, but it's there. The diagrams and parts lists are IDENTICAL to the parts books. As to engines, or anything else, get the tractor model first, then the engine. It is really quite simple. As to the company itself, this morning they found me the "only" part in North America that exists for my 460 HI Utility, it's at Jacobs farm equipment in Ontario. By the way this is a part that the CD says CIH still makes -- that part of the CD is simply not accurate, as there are many other errors concering availability. They say they are working on pricing.

It seems to work about like the parts CD I got from Case/IH some years ago.

You're right, it is kinda clunky, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier.

I'm just glad that there is finally something online.

Had a little more time this morning to look around a bit more and I agree it is confusing. The engines are not listed under the tractor listings you have to search for the engine model in a seperate search. Also you cannot price parts yet. Kinda like the green site until you learn the method they use you spend a lotta time looking and not finding what you are looking for. A good old paper manual is still hard to beat.

I will continue to use both, as I don't have a computer in my work area -- but the listings on the site and the CD are identical to the manual. The CD was confusing to me until I more or less got used to it. CD does not always work right. The Site appears perfect to me.

If you can not see any of the parts pages, you need to use a compatable browser. Open the site with Internet explorer, Firefox does not work.

Maybe that's why I am having trouble? Don't know, but I hate to think that I would have to change back to IE. Firefox works so much better and faster. Maybe they need to reconfigure the website so that it works with Firefox.

Hey guys. My name is Neil, I am the web developer at Messicks. I'm working on tweaking the way New Holland has done this tool to make it a bit more powerful and somewhat more friendly. What I do will be compatible with firefox and will have live pricing and our stock levels. Most items will also give accurate UPS shipping rates. If you have any suggestions on how we can tweak this tool let me know.

Thanks
Neil

You'll just have to overlook the color, but look here for how it really should be done.
