i was wondering what the advantage was to ahving a LP fueled tractor does it last longer then gasoline or what does it get more horse power thanks for your imput

LP used to be cheaper than gasoline, that was it's selling point. It is cleaner burning than gas, less oil dilution, etc. I think it actually produced less power (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Factory LP tractors had higher compression to make up for the loss.

Yep - less power and more fuel usage. The increase in compression ratio makes up for the less power but there just is not as many btu's in LP gas as there is in gasoline or diesel. The only advantage is refueling convenience. Many rural homes have a large LP gas tank for heating and they refuel right out of that. Otherwise you need a bulk gasoline or diesel tank, or carry it yourself.
