You need one of these for your H. I just picked it up to restore it.

We didn't have that many knotter problems with ours. I usually have to study the book to make sure the adjustments are correct. They seem to always work for me. If the knives aren't sharp and adjusted right you will have knotter problems. We also had to replace the little rollers at the needle points because knots would get caught on the needle and sometimes the twine was getting cut by the needle itself.

Neighbors had a 55T and baled for us a few times. Seemed that creature missed more knots than made. Alot of hand tied bannana shaped bales.

Spent lots of dusty time riding on the twine box as a lad checking the knots and the holler at dad on the tractor to come and tie them by hand. Good luck with your restoration. I think I still have the books for it here some where.

Looks like a 55-T baler. My brother has two of them for parts. They came with choice of a cub or "C" engine.

I just tore one of those apart. Not real familiar with the model but I took the engine unit off and brought it to Cal for the parts. The engine appears to be real close to the Super C carb, gov and etc. It is a wire baler and rest of it is in Nevada. If you think you need some parts, let me know.
