I have a 1946 M wide front end.Allowing for one wheel weight on either side, what would the dry weight of the tractor be? I have heard anywheres from 3500 to 6000lbs.

Any ideas?

Equipped as you say with factory single weights and no fluid in the tires, about 5200.

Didn't notice that you said WFE (twice). I don't know what the WFE weighs, 150-200 lbs?

An M will weigh a lot closer to 6,000 than 3,500. In fact, you will need to strip a whole bunch of stuff off of an H to get it down to 3,500.

My M has a schwartz wide front. With me on it and 1 set of rear weights, it weighs in at 5800 lbs. The belly pump and belt pulley gearbox are on the tractor. I"m about 300 and the set of rear weights would be about the same.

Mine has the same axle under it.I figured that the tractor would be close to 3 ton, considering how far it sunk into my lawn-its immobile, engine issues.
