On 10-7-06 I am planning to take my Super A to an antique tractor pull, mostly because the young
man up the hill never has anybody to pull his Allis CA against in the 2750 lb class, but also
because my big trailer will be in Wi. that day and
I will have to borrow my neighbors and my CO-OP E3
won't fit on his trailer. No matter what happens I
will get at least 2nd place. So, what I need to know is how much would this tractor weigh with no fluid in the tires? What do you think that L59
Woods mower would weigh? and how much does a rear
wheel weight weigh?? If the photo doesn't show up
hear, it's in tractor photos. Please don't tell
me to check the archives because when I typed in
Farmall Super A weight, I got 11349 hits.

Hey, what size tires you got on yours? That is something else to think about too. Make sure you can get traction going down the track. My experiance has been iffy when using my 1949 Super A in the field with the 9.5's. I have thought about trying to pull mine again in the low weight classes, just haven't had time. The book says these weight about 2500, and it says the weights weigh about 142 lbs. If you can, find some extra heavy cast centers, they are thinner so you can get more on and they weight about 160 lbs. Let us know how you do in the pulls with it, I would be interested in knowing.

Dave: My Super A weighs 2350# without any weights, liquid or solid. Rear wheel weights are 145# each. I don't have weight for the mower, all I know is my son and I easily lifted off the pickup, can't be more than 150#.

are they going to let you pull with the mower on it, or were you just curious to how much it weighs?

Yes they would let me pull with the mower on but it looks like I will have to take it off to
get it light enough for a 210 lb driver Thanks for the help fellas.

Hey look at that , not bad for a first try.
Maybe I'll try to put a picture of my CO-OP E3 and Oliver 88 next.
