A couple of weeks ago I had a problem trying to find the correct size U bolt (1/2" rod, 3 3/8" gap, 9" long, 2" thread) that fit inder the axle of my Super A. All the car places had U bolts but they werent the correct size and no one showed it in their books.

A trailer dealer gave me the name of a place in Tyler, Texas to call named W.C. Supply (phone-903-597-2363)

They bent it for me on a 2 1/4" die and I got it the next day. Shipped it COD. It worked perfect. Total cost $24.00

So, if your having a hard time finding that bolt you might give them a call.

Tx: Any truck spring shop can make those, the cost wont be any better than what you found. You give them the specs, and as long as they have the stock, it"s about 5 min.

Their problem with items like that U bolt is they don"t do their own threading, only bend a prethreaded rod into shape.

Now you tell me Hugh. lol

I guess the trouble is that I live 50 miles from a big city and didnt know where to look.

Yea, the guy said he would do it while I waited but I didnt want to go 50 miles to get it. It would have cost $8.00 if I had picked it up.
