That wheelchair SMTA-WC was interesting. I see that the shift lever was extended. How were the pedals operated? Hydraulically? Looks like the cab was pulled into position with a chain drive after being lifted with the hydraulic cylinders. What are the white items near the steering wheel?

If that tractor was used in the field or pulling wagons, it must have been difficult to put the cab on the ground as something must have been hooked to drawbar. Seems like a davit arrangement would have been easier to fabricate and could swing the cab out of the way of the implements.

Did the JD 840 come from the collection of an equipment dealer from Litizt(?), PA. (near Harrisburg) ? That's the site of an Antique Mack Truck show usually around Father's Day. I saw a similar combo there ten years ago (same day as OJ Simpson's slow speed chase). It was unrestored and I thought it was an 830, however.

That looks fantastic! Where is that show? I've never been to anything like it before.

Mike - This show is an annual event in Alexander, NY (western upstate NY). It's always a good one!
