I just removed the Char-Lynn torque generator from the Super MTA. I am having some difficulting finding a rebuild kit for it on-line. It may just need seals, but I thought I would price both. Does anyone know where I can get a kit for it? The model number on it is MOD.S 101 F (could be a P).

It has been leaking for years, but recently began leaking so bad I can't keep any fluid in it. I would like to get this fixed because it has been making a mess.

Maybe I would be better off taking it to a hydraulic shop for a rebuild. It looks like the body has to come clear apart to replace the seals, etc. Has anyone ever taken one of these apart? Is it complicated? Thanks.

I have been checking. Force America will ship the seals and list the seal kit number as 21122, but I am not sure if they are the flat seals. I inquired about that. Looks like to go through Agco, I"d have to go through a dealer which isn"t a big deal. Force America does not show a rebuild kit for this unit.

Thanks. I'll do some checking with the contacts noted. Maybe I'll go ahead and take one of the ends off to see what's inside. I was kind of reluctant to in case a bunch of pieces just fell out or something. Never know what your getting into. I think it could probably get by with just seals. It was working well when fluid was in it.

I recently bought one from Force America- located in Burnsville,MN

If it just leaks the orings are easy to replace, but if the star looking assembly is worn, it will cost more... but parts are available.

26Red, Were the seals you got from Force America the flat ones? Any drips or leaks? Thanks.

You Can Get A Seal Kit From Agco, Mine Leaked For Years On My 600 Case And I Had It Apart Many Times And Many O-Rings, Then Allis Dealer Says O-Rings Are The Flat Ones. He Ordered Seal Kit For Me I Put It In And It Does Not Leak Now, I Did This 2 Years Ago. It Had Leaked For 30 Years And It"s Called A Char-Lyn Power Steering Motor I Think.
