My good better half is into crossword puzzles, she buys books containing about 25 puzzles. It is always left open to the page she is working on. This was lying close to my view this morning, thus I could read bit of the clues. I've never been much into these myself, but ocasionally one catches my eye.

I could see the word Mogul- an early IH tractor, dish out- a Farmall rear wheel, Lowell- a tractor guy I e mail with and fast hitch- again a Farmall tractor. I picked this up for closer inspection, thinking I had found a gold mine, so to speak.

Turns out Mogul was - Cosmetics Mogul Mary, what ever that is, dish out- no idea what they were driving at, Lowell is a poet and fast hitch turned out to be fish hatches. Now I'm disappointed, I thought I had stumbled outo something worthwhile.

Not a cross-word puzzle, but a picture puzzle of what appears to be a Farmall M and corn harvest in progress. Circular puzzle that I still have in the box - for many decades. Something I should do this winter while watching the fire and snow falling :)

I'm not into cross-word puzzles myself, makes my head hurt, but I think I have seen one or two IH related cross-word puzzles. Maybe in an IHC collectors club magazine?

My Mom is the same way she was in the hospital on a resperator unable to talk but she was finishing cross puzzels by the book. She buys them where ever she can as long as there new or different and she has a memory like an elephant. I will ask her if she has done one she will recall it. She also has to be home by 7:00 every night for wheel of fortune and she answers most before they even get the first spin.lol
