After pulling the head om my B and seeing the 1"+ recess in the head, I figured I need to use pop up pistons to get the compression up. The problem is TISCO brand has only a 1/4" dome on top of there step head piston. I would like to see at least a 1/2" dome. Just who all makes kits for these tractors?
Thanks, Charles

i am a distributor for howard enterprizes and their ' red power' line of parts. the pistons with the real high domes or steps are no longer available. they were for use at high altitudes or changing a low compression engine to get more power on gas or propane. howards offer american made firecrater piston sets.

Thanks for the info Randy. By chance could you tell me the height of the dome on the piston you carry? 3 1/8" pistons.

MagMan carries A&I From what I saw in there catoloug they did not tell a size but maybe you could call them or mag and have him find out. I know the shape and size of the ones I bought pretty much compare to fire crators. Not step head .
