can anybody tell me the difference between a farmall C and a super C? my farmall has the row crop equipment on it and extras like the controable flaps on the face of the radiator to control air flow and engine temp. when i bought it it was so sun faded and rusty that the decals have long disapeared.

Lots of small differences in the archives. One of the easiest to see is the crank hole on he SC is an inch or so below the ribs & the gas tank has about 2 inches of space under it (the radiator & grill is taller). In the pix the C is left & the SC is on the right. These beauties are not mine, I borrowed the pix.

Easiest way to tell at a glance is the C brake pedals are straight, the Super C's are curved, in addition to the water pump, taller radiator and grill and disk, as opposed to band, brakes. Although the kerosene/distillate engines were available through the 30/50 series, they had mostly died out by the time the Super C arrived, so you likely have a C. If you have a complete distillate/kerosene system, though, it will at least slightly increase the value of your tractor.

Super C has disc brakes and water pump. Engine is larger on a Super C than a C so a taller radiator. I think is a 123 cubic inch engine versus 113 for a C. Might be a few other differences but I think this catches most of the differences.
