The LPG was added by a dealer. There was no factory LPG WR-9. The WR-9 had a foot decellerator. The I-9 had a foot accelerator. The alunimum throttle must have been added, but, find a salvage yard with a W-9, WR-9, or I-9. The throttle on all of these is the same.

The tractor came from the factory on gas and a local dealer changed it to propane, a family freind bought it in the late 50's as LP was not popular in these parts and the tractor had sat at the dealership for years, anyway the throttle lever broke at some point and he built a new one but cant recall what the original looked like however the base of it is still on it and appears to be aluminum

The M& W were cast Iron, others were thick sheet metal, Ive never seen an aluminum throttle, maybe it came in a Kit. JimN

From info gathered on this wonderful sight, I seem to remember that there were no LPG factory tractors in 50. If a standard Gas throttle cannot be made to look correct, I would adapt a M&W aftermarket lever (they seem to get a fair reception at shows) I do not know about foot theottles on that series. My brother has a Gas I-9 that has no foot throttle. JimN
