Broken Lift-All Cylinder on a M

The cylinder on my lift-all has been screwed up for awhile, but I recently started using a bush-hog, and I’d like to get the cylinder working again.

A picture is attached. I’m guessing that the current cylinder can’t be repaired. Anyone have a good source to go to for a new one? What should I be looking for when buying a cylinder?

Many thanks

Tractor Supply Also has a decent assortment of standard cylinders (clevite versions, 1" pins I believe), might wanna check them out, most are in the $80-$120 range depending on size.

I've seen quite a few cylinders with 1 inch pins, but the pin hole for the top of the cylinder is only supposed to be about 5/8 inch to fit the hole on the tractor.

Yow you took the top right off of that thing. Hope you don"t spend too much money. Check central tractor if you have one near. Original will givr you a heart attack. Jeffcat

Hydraulic cylinders are pretty standard. Basically, you"ll want one that"s the same size as the one you have, with the same piston diameter, closed length, and stroke length. Most cylinders I"ve seen are sized by piston diameter and stroke (e.g. 2-1/2" x 12"), and closed length is often somewhat adjustable.
