My Super A has decided it won"t shift into gear. With the pedal depressed when you attempt to put it in gear there is a bad grinding sound. Shifts fine with the engine off. Any ideas on things I can look at to decide what to fix?

Cluthc disc maybe stuck to the flywheel. Pull the starter off and look in. Have some one push the pedal down and see if the preassure plate releises any. If it does then take some brake cleaner and spray into tha clutch disc and also turn the engine over some to get it cleaned. You can also start it in gear and drive it around, but make sure you have a lot of room to do that and make sure no ones in your way becuase you will not be able to stop it easy till it pops loose. Thats a common problem with tractors.
