I have a chance to buy a real nice looking 345 IHC tractor. It needs a set of rings and a head gasket. The engine tag says made in England. I can't even find a picture of one on the internet let alone parts. Could somebody please send me a picture of one or if any anyone has any info please email me. Thank you

catman: Are you sure of that model number? Where are you located? I'm not saying IH didn't build a 345 tractor, but it was never officially imported into Canada and I rather doubt it ever went to the USA. If you live in Europe, it's probably a decent buy. If you live in North America and the tractor is in North America, it's probably not a good buy. A lot of these tractors, not officially imported, got shipped here by immigrants as they moved to North America. The problem will be, every time you need a part it will have to come from England. North American CaseIH dealers will not even have parts books on these tractors.

I had here in Canada a British immigrant farmer, neighbor. He imported a tractor when he moved here, a model that was never sold new in Canada. He often said he wished he'd left the tractor in England. The dealer didn't have parts, no information on the tractor and because every thing was a special order, parts costs were through the roof.
