BN questions

I found what I believe is a 1945 BN near my home.
The id tag under the seat gives the model # as BN, but the serial # starts with just FAB, not FABN. Is this correct?

The tractor appears mostly original, but is wearing a hood from an A. Serial # indicates it is a 1945 model. It has electric lights and starter, but the lights are attached to the drop boxes. It looks factory and not cobbled, but every other A, B, or BN i"ve seen has them to the sides of the grille.

One last question, what is the correct width of the axlehousings? I know they are 4" narrower apiece than a regular B, but not the specific length.
thanks

The link below is to a photo that will show you where to measure the length of the differential shaft housing.

Like billde said, 18 inches is a BN, 22 inches is a B.

axle housings will be 18 inches as opposed to 22 inches for a regular B
