Lift arms 3pt

Have a homemade 3 pth on my Super M, I beleive the lift arms are too short . Can anyone give me the proper length they should be. I'm running a 7' bush hog.

There are variables that drive the answer. Usually the ball sockets in the ends of the arms are just visible past the rear tires when the arms are about mid lift when lining up your eye across both tires. But if the arms are short, this may cause a mechanical disadvantage that prevents correct action, or strength. The beat advice is to look at and take pictures and measurements of systems that work.
