Helped take of rear wheel weight of friends M today, wern't the usual flat 140 lbs one, these weight about 300 lbs each two per wheel, curved to fit center. Did not see casting # but were stamped IHCO M @ H. They are about 4-5 inches wide down to 1-2 inches. Assume these were factory weights. Are these of any vaue to collectors. Don't mess with IH much, just cuious since had,t seen any ike them before. Thanks H.B.

I don't think that "IHCo" was ever used in place of IHC or IH. You should consider them aftermarket. Many foundries, including IH, would set out extra molds on the production floor and pour them when they had extra metal in a "Heat". That is more efficient than dumping the molten metal in the slag pile.

They were probably made before the Farmall C was introduced. That tractor uses the same weight.

If you lived nearby, I would buy them for a reasonable price. I have an H with 12-15 aftermarket items installed in/on it. I am in MA.

Far as I know they were not factory, not unusual at all to find non-factory weights on an M. They would only be of value to someone who actually needed the weight.
