Machining parts at work during breaks. Getting close to piecing it together with welder. Is there a way to keep the ram from extending to its full travel? Should a chain go from the arms to the horseshoe to limit the upward travel as well as not let it swing out to the tires? If I did not make it myself,I would not get one, but it was more work than I like to do. I am more interest in getting the picture to post than anything else. Picture is copied from archives

Welcome Home. That may have one of my errors. I will try again someday.

sesser, I have taken cylinders apart to replace seals, and found stops in cylinder (round collar slipped over the main ram, to restrict the full length of extention.) The length of the collar depended on the amount of restriction needed for the ram.HTH

Thank you very much. For now I am going to move the lower ram mount down one inch and I hope that will work out for me.
