hi one of the lift cylinders on a 2001 loader is leaking bad. I had installed a seal kit a couple of yrs ago. They stopped the leak in one cylinder but the other is still leaking. The seal (retained by a large fitting that is threaded on)is working its way out-so some thing is not right. If i take it in to be repaired I have the feeling that I might as well buy a new one. Has any one out there replaced theirs with a double acting tie rod cylinder? Price wise it might be the way to go. I know that i would replace both and rework some lines (originals are single acting). Has any one been down this road? Thanks Jim Mc Dade

I had a leaky cylinder on my 2001 loader. Took itin to local hydraulic place last summer. Cost $150 to fix. I did not price a hydraulic cylinder, but I would think one that size would be more than $150. Now yours may have something more seriously wrong or your local hydraulic repair shop more expensive. Just my experience.
