Thanks.. Is the super M a 6 volt positive ground system? I also was wondering where the voltage regulator is suppose to be? On the generator, or on the front gas tank support.. A picture of a late M, or Stage I SM instrument panel area would be great.

I have a Stage 1 Super M. Starter button is located just behind the steering post. Foot operated lever contacts the plunger to open the switch. I believe this was standard.

Standard size front tires are 6.00 X 15. Rears on mine are 14.9 X 38. I believe the IH tractor data book would have the factory standards.

Mine is an early SM and it's got a rod to pull that's right under the choke rod, both bent into loops on the end. My regulator is on the steering post, right where it's easy to kick when it sticks.
