I bought an 46 A last year and the starter that was in it only has a single post for a battery cable. I guess this was from an H or M. Can this starter be changed to use a typical starter button that an A should have?
Thanks,

A good repairman can do it just have to find one that has the button and th skill to do it. Better check prices to see if the starter is good enough to use as exchange price on rebuilt is around 125 mite be cheaper to just exchange for a rebuilt.

I wouldn't try it. Probably best to just use a solenoid and key switch.
