WELL I DID MY BEST, I think kellys post was right on. I tryed everything to be nice to them emailed about 8 times. I was told send them back and they would pay me the money by check. I said I would need the shipping also. They said send them back and it would be worth it to be rid of me to pay the shipping back and they would send me a check. I said I paid by money order and I would like the return payment to be sent to me ion money order and when I rec it I would send the mags back. They said NO WAY they were done with me do what I wanted to do. I emailed back and said I gave you the benifit of the doubt and sent the money, And I do not feel I was treated right with you keeping my extra shipping for the second mag and the mags came damaged becuase they were not packaged properly. And it was time for them to give me the benifit of the doubt and send a money order and I would return the mags. Never heard anything back so I filed a complaint with ebay. They gave me a spot about 100 letters I got about half way through with my complaint and could not go further and had to send so they send that to the seller and they respond item was bought as is and 12.00 ship. That was it. So I canceled the claim. Then I emailed one more time and saidI am sorry this is hurting you more than me and I would like to give you one more chance send me my $12.00 and be done otherwise rec neg feed back on there 70 100% account. Nothing back so far. I truly think they were going to keep the mags and send me nothing or a bad check or cancel the check. Just like kelly said. If anyone wants to buy from me you can see you will always get treated right and with the benifit of the doubt. Now in a few days I am going to file a complaint on the second item, then leave one - feed back and wait a week or two and leave a second - feed back for the other. BTW they canceled the 3rd mag and my bid so I did not have to do it my self. And they say they no nothing about this kind of item and take a far away pic well they new both mags were LH trip that I would not have bought if I would have known. But the best thing is they were D for the MDs and I know I can sell them or if they would have listed them that way they would have gotten more. The thing I cant understand is I was the only bidder on all three auctions and it was a low bid, Everyone else must have known something I guess.

I believe only the first feedback a person leaves you counts toward your percentage. The rest show up but they set the thing up so one person couldn't give another person a ton of positive feed back and distort their real track record. So long as you do what is right, it doesn't matter what the other guy does. Integrity is internal. I got one negitive feedback (out of 600) for leaving someone a netural, when they charged me 4.00 for 68 cents postage. go figure- Id give em the negitive

The only clue I can find is he changed his ebay user ID within the last 6 months. He had an earlier ID for two years before that. Other then that, nothing at all jumps out as an obvious sign.

those folks are losers, move on and don't waste another thought on them. Did you post the seller?
I don't want to buy from them either.

Magman, I had a similar experience a little over a year ago, the seller would not even return my e-mails, so I left negative feedback. Big mistake, the seller retaliated with negative for me also, even though I had done nothing wrong, and ebay would do nothing about it. If I have trouble with a seller now, I just plain do not leave any feedback.

I AGREE TOTALLY, I am in contact with them again and lets see what happens. I bought a tape on how to sell on ebay and they tell you to always leave feedback as soon as an item is paid for. and I do that most of the time but it only takes on with neg or a new seller that does not care to spoil the pot. I would definately ding them with a negative feedback and be specific about why. EBay isn't the neighbor's garage sale, it's a business, and if they're poor business people - and they are - I figure I'm doing the next guy a favor. It's not mean or spiteful. Just honest.

well you did all you could have, some people dont think of there ebay account as a business where you have to keep the customer happy, or at least keep both parties on a level playing field, they messed up, they lost a good potential repeat buyer, its there loss your gain, as far as the part getting there damaged it should have been there responsibility to package it good in the first place, that is there job to make sure it get s to you in teh same shape as you bought it and they shipped it, granted sometimes it can get damaged in shipping , buit not if it is packaged good, I ship alot of fragile stuff and stuff like that you have to take an extra few minutes and package it correctly, you were right in refusing to send it back until you got a money order, thats how you paid, you should get it back the same way or better, what about paypal?,shipping is a touchy subject, with multiple buys that should have been put in one box and one shipping charge, they could have put it in one postal flat rate for 8 bucks, the extra 4 dollars could cover there handling but there was no need for double charging, its simple to send a refund, I have done it many times and continue to do it, but I have repeat customers and you should treat people like you want to be treated, chalk this up to experience, and realize as you probably have the few bad eggs, or greedy guys out there will get theres in the end, you did the right thing emailed them politely and asked questions in civilized manner, keep doing business in that way and you will be fine, you will find ebay wont do much in case of a problem, but I have found that paypal does some what more in teh way of investigation and getting to the bottom of trouble but they are all still in it for the money, they get it coming and going, good luck with your ventures and put this behind you, pat

did they give you feedback on both of your mags already? because they can and probly would give you neg just because, they can also I believe leave a follow up , but I dont believe it will come back neg on yours feedback numbers,
