I have an F-30 that was my Grandpa's. I am trying to find out what color it is suppose to be. The serial number is FB 17202. The color now is red. But I am not sure if that is the correct color. It looks like it has been repainted at one time. My son is going to restore it at school for an ag mechanics project and will enter it in several shows and it needs to be authentic. I would also like to know the options list. I think it came with steel wheels, but am looking at putting rubber on it, if that was an option. Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the info. This tractor came with steel wheels and they were cut off to put the rims for rubber on it. I was wondering if rubber was an option for this year model?

serial number range for 1936 is FB10407 - FB18683 I won't dispute F Dean as he is quite knowedgable on F series, but I was unaware anyone knew the exact time of color change.
I currently have 3 F30s and will be putting one together for myself and selling the extra parts. Let me know if you need any help. I know some good parts sources.

My information is based on an article in Red Power a 3 or 4 years ago. This article noted that F-30s apparently used an October 1st date to switch years. I will try to find the article so others can read and comment.
