Posr the casting codes on the tranny and engine and we can go from there. Does the block have two ribs by the carb running lengthways and are the front wheels tilted back from the pedestal. Long or short oil filter housing. J-shaped hooks on the hood or a slotted hex nut? A guard in front of the belt pulley and what size is the pto shaft. Serial # should begin with the latters FAB.

Engine and chassis serials match unless your serial is above 201000. It is stamped on a machined area under the #1 spark plug.

Have you looked under the seat the palte should be on one of the 2 brackets that hold the seat. Also if you post the casting numbers some one will give you your answer.

Normaly the serial # on these is the same as the engine #. This is if the block has not been changed. It should be stamped on a flat boss on the block on the right side at the front right next to the head. Hope this helps
