I can't remember if I posted these before, but I was just reminded how much time, money and work can go into one of these. But like Toyota used to say"Oh what a feeling...!"

If you look at the tree in the top photo, the flat iron seat bracket is completely engulfed in the tree.

Wow, what a transformation . . . you did a great job! Takes a huge amount of determination to tackle something that far gone. I love project photos like those - sort of encourages me to keep going on my own. Do you have any more "along the way" photos you can post? Would enjoy seeing them.

Thanks, it was quite an experience. I thought the '35 F12 I did a few years back was rough, but this one was tough. There are a few over in the tractor photos. Search KevinH and it should bring them up.

Wow, that top picture looks a lot like torchbait around here! My hat's off to your ability to tackle and complete a task. Any sentimental attatchment or did you just decide to fix that tractor?

Found it in a scrap yard that was being cleaned out to china. It was in better shape than the pictures show. All the sheet metal was there and straight(except gas tank...thanks Howard), the engine was remarkably not stuck, tranny and rear end gears were good. Just couldn't let her go to the torch...plus it was free(at least to start out with)

'Bout another month and a half and this years crop will be ready to grind and cook off. The grinding set up is a sight to see. That's what I used the spare rear end off of the '30 Reg. to power it by belt.
